For today’s post, I decided to try a Japanese influenced, short hair and glasses look. This is a very natural look and something that can be easily worn on a daily basis. While visiting Japan, I come across this look quite often. Keep reading to find out who exactly photobombed this photoshoot!

The Wig
I purchased the Short Straight Wig off of Amazon and I am very pleased with this purchase. This wig is very affordable and with my prime membership, it was free delivery for the very next day. The size is adjustable for the perfect fit and it was overall very comfortable. I trimmed the front bangs just a tad for it to fit my face perfectly.
The wig is very soft to the touch and I loved how the straight hair fell so naturally on my face. My mom is a huge fan of this wig, and suggested I cut my hair to resemble this wig.笑 I would highly recommend this wig to anyone that is interested. It is a great deal and looks absolutely real!
The Glasses
The glasses I am wearing are my real prescription glasses I got over 10 years ago. The brand name is Furla and I cannot seem to find this same pair of glasses on their current website. I did find a much cheaper frame on Amazon that is very similar to the glasses I am wearing in these photos.
Makeup

Skin
For the base of my makeup, I first used Baby Skin Primer to fill in my visible pours. Next, with a beauty blender, I applied Maybelline Fit Me Matte + Poreless in 110 for my foundation. Once my foundation is applied evenly all over my face and neck, I go in with Naked Skin Concealer in the center of my forehead, down the center of my nose, and under my eyes.
Next, I go in with a L’Oreal Contour Stick in Medium/Deep to contour my nose and lightly contour my cheeks and jawline. I always try to keep the contouring light on face when doing Japanese inspired makeup as I like to keep my face as soft as possible. Then I go in with Becca Shimmering Liquid Highlighter to highlight the bridge of my nose. Once everything is blended throughly, I use Airspun Loose Face Powder to bake my face. I leave the powder on my face for around 5 to 10 minutes. I then brush away the excess powder off my face using a large fluffy brush. For my blush, I used Palladio Pink Matte on the tops of my cheeks.
Eyes
Moving onto my eyes, I used Wet N Wild Fergie – Desert Festival for my eyeshadow. I used the darker tan shade to fill the whole base of my eyelids. I then used the darkest color on the pallet to the outermost part of my eyes. Using that same color, I also lightly brushed it under my eyes as well. For the center most part of my eyes, I used the white eyeshadow from Maybelline Eyeshadow 50. For eyeliner, I used a Pencil Eyeliner in Black for the tops of my eyes only.
Next, I used Glamor False Lashes for the tops of my eyes, and Individual Lower Lashes for the outer most part of the bottom of my eyes. If you are having trouble with the application part of false lashes, it may be a good idea to try Arishine Magnetic Lashes. These make the application process for false lashes much easier and they look and feel great. If you are looking for more information on these, check out my honest review for them.
Brows and Lips
For my eyebrows, I simply used a black eyeshadow and lightly went over them. And last but not least, for my lips, I used NARS Matte Lip Pen in Cruella.

Short Hair and Glasses Look – Final Thoughts
This was a great affordable look for me. I felt this look gave me a more mature and sophisticated ambience. I also hoped you liked meeting little Aki-chan. She also made a small appearance in my Daisy Mae – Animal Crossing cosplay while I was making the Blue Apron. I hope you liked this look, let me know if you have any questions or comments! See you next time<3
