This week, I really wanted to try a combination of the lolita look and e-girl look with a lavender lolita wig and e-girl makeup. You may be asking yourself “what does lolita and e-girl even mean?”

Lolita Fashion
Lolita fashion is a subculture from Japan that resembles a doll from the Victorian age between 1837 and 1901. Their fashion calls for a lot of frills and lace on their dresses and makeup which highlights large eyes. This look involves a lot of light pastel colors, although gothic lolita fashion which emphasizes the color black, has also become very popular. Imagine someone dressing as Alice from Alice and Wonderland. Her outfit is very similar to lolita fashion.
E-Girls
E-girl stands for “electronic girl” aka an internet girl. E-girls are known for playing a lot of video games and internet games that are typically more popular for men. Others define e-girls as those that are constantly online and posting on Instagram, Twitter, Snapchat, Tik Tok, etc. They generally have a lot of sex appeal and wear trendy clothes. E-girl makeup includes a lot of blush, bright colored hair, heart or star stamps around the eyes and very sharp eyeliner wings.
Wig
I bought the Lavender Wig off Amazon at a very affordable price. I was extremely happy with this purchase as the wig has two to three different colors within to create the perfect lavender color. It is also very soft to the touch and the light curls at the bottom are so cute. The back of the wig is adjustable to fit most head sizes and with an Amazon Prime membership, I received free two day shipping.
Ears and Glasses
The White Fox Ears, I also purchased off Amazon with free one day delivery. The ears fit comfortably and are very versatile. The ears can be clipped directly onto your head or clipped onto the headband if desired.
These Vintage Aviators paired very well with the look I was going for. They looked and felt great, I would definitely recommend.
Makeup

Skin
I always start by priming my face with Baby Skin Primer. This will fill in any small deviations and imperfections I have on my face. The foundation I am using in these photos is Maybelline Fit Me Matte + Poreless in 110. After blending all the foundation evenly on face and neck, I go in with Naked Skin Concealer to brighten under my eyes, down the center of my nose, the top of my upper lip and just below my lower lip.
For contour, I use L’Oreal Contour Stick in Medium/Deep, and place it under my cheek bone, my jawline, and the sides of my nose. I am absolutely in love with this contour stick, it is so simple to use and applies in a matter of seconds. After the contour is throughly blended in, I use Becca Shimmering Liquid Highlighter to highlight the naturally high parts of my face. This includes the tops of my cheeks, above my brow bone, the top of my upper lip and down the center of my nose. I then lightly set my face with Airspun Loose Face Powder. Let the powder set for about 5 to 10 minutes, and then lightly brush off the excess.
Eyes
The eyeshadow I used was Maybelline Eyeshadow 50. I used the pink color to fill out the top of my eyelids as well as under my eyes. I then went in with the silver color and focused most of the products toward the outer most part of my eyes. Using a more precise brush, I went in with the dark purple along my lash line. With a larger fluffier brush, I blended out all the colors on my eyes. I then went in with the white eyeshadow and concentrated it on the inner most parts of my eyes.
For my false lashes, I used Anime Lashes. This eyelash set provides both top and bottom lashes that are perfect for a more dramatic look.
Freckles and Blush
For this look, I also gave myself freckles using an Eyebrow Pen in the color Brown/Blonde. I lightly pressed the pen across my cheeks and bridge of my nose. I applied it randomly and added some lighter ones as well as some darker ones.
Next, I apply arguably the most important part of this look, the blush! I use Palladio Pink Matte on the tops of my cheeks as well as across the bridge of my nose.
Metallic Tattoos
On the sides of my eyes, I decided to carefully place on Metallic Temporary Tattoos. I really loved the way these looked on my face and the pop it gave to my eyes. It is possible to place temporary tattoos over your foundation and makeup, just be extra careful. Take your time while placing them on, and pull off very slowly when they look ready. If any part of the tattoo starts to lift, place it back down and add more water on top.
Lips
For the base of my lips, I used NARS Velvet Matte Pencil in Bahama. Then I placed some of NARS Velvet Matte Pencil in Cruella on my finger and lightly placed the color on the inner parts of my lips. I blended it outwards to evenly coat my lips.
Lavender Lolita Wig/E-Girl Makeup – Final Thoughts
This has been my favorite look so far. I love the sweet yet edgy appearance that came from both these looks. The freckles, blush and temporary tattoos really brought out my eyes and brought the focus to the center of my face. With this type of makeup I really feel like I should be streaming on Twitch.笑 Doing this look was so enjoyable, I will definitely be doing more variations of this style. Let me know if you have any questions or comments! See you next time.
